Step 1
Please check from a competent astrologer whether or not Diamond suits
you. Wearing a gemstone that does not suit you as per your astrological
chart is not recommended. Gemstones bring changes in your natural energy
fields and wearing a non suitable gemstone can be harmful. Only upon
verification of the above, move to Step 2.
Step 2
Buy a Diamond on a Friday during the Shukla Paksha (the ascending moon
cycle). Diamond may also be purchased when the nakshatra (constellation)
is Bharani, Purva Phalguni, Purvakshad.
Step 3
The ring should be set in silver, white gold or platinum and the stone
mounted in open backed ring such that it can touch the finger that you
wear on. The weight of the Diamond should be not be less than 1
rattikas. (1 Rattika = 0.9 carats).
Step 4
Upon receiving the ring, decide on the day to wear it keeping in mind
the rules given in Step 2. Best time to wear it in is early morning of
Friday during pushya nakshatra.
Step 5
Sit facing East or South East on a white asana. Keep the ring immersed
in raw cow’s milk. Then wash it with Ganga – water or water kept in a
copper pot overnight. After it has been washed, keep the ring on a white
cloth on which a Venus Yantra (numerical yantra may be used) is drawn
with rice paste and with a pinch of saffron.
Step 6
Offer flowers, incense to the yantra and the Diamond and chant the
following mantra 108 times:
"Aum Shum Shukraye Namah Aum" or chant Sri Suktam and Lakshmi
Suktam
